last week laury and i allezed au paris and spent the weekend in a francaiscstasy soaking up very second of the three glorious nights we spent there eating carbonara lasagne and the like.
we managed to tour all of the popular attractions such as the notre dame, eiffel tower, sacre couer etc and also fit in some luxury style souvenir shopping in the mega impressive lafayette and printemps looking at lots of things we could never afford.
the most exciting moment of the trip for me, though, was our ascension of the eiffel tower late on our last night, queuing alongside an american man named michael who chatted to us in the long, long line for the elevator.
i think the sight from the top of the tour was one of the most beautiful and impressive things i have laid eyes upon on in my life and i wish i could have stayed up there forever or flown away like a bird or something it was so deeply affecting.
now we're back in england back in my steamy hot bedroom sleepy weepy sleeping and planning to go to frankie and benny's tomorrow and maybe camp out in the garden if we feel up for a thrill. i've got a metal eiffel tower model on the cd rack next to me and when i look at it i think of the blissful moments we spent up there in the sky
i also bought myself an i heart paris tshirt to reflect to the world my inner feelings for the city of love whenever i please
now i'm going to bed i am a sleepen
